A Letter To My Abuser

For many survivors of childhood abuse and trauma, we struggle with a confusing sense of ownership and responsibility for the abuse that we endured. For many, we never have the opportunity to express to our abusers directly how we felt about what happened to us or had the opportunity to explain the effects of the abuse we endured and held on to as we grew into adults.

Here, I invite fellow survivors to do just that, by writing a letter to their abuser. Let this be your chance to let out all that you have held inside for so long, without fear or judgment. Let this be a place where your voice and your thoughts can finally be heard and acknowledged. Please share your letter.
